About Fitzone Healthy Living Centre

 
The Fitzone Foundation (formly KidzFitzone), founded by our project coordinator Sean Collins, became a registered charity in 2014 to empower the community improve their health and well-being. Run by the people of the local community, we care deeply about what we are, 'The Heart of Community Health and Well-being.'
With constant engagement with the local community, the services that we offer, are because YOU have told us what you need.
As a member of the Healthy Living Alliance, we are one of the local Healthy Living Centres, meaning we have access to specialist services and training to offer more to the community.
We are inclusive for everyone, regardless of where you are on your health and well-being journey.
With our professional and caring staff, we offer:
  • Womens only physical activity
  • Mens only physical activity
  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Mens support group
  • Womens support group
  • Menopause support group
  • Community gym
  • Social running/walking group
  • 1-1 health trainer service
  • Health checks
  • Mental health workshops
  • Health and well-being workshops
  • GP Exercise Referral Specialist
  • Training and volunteering opportunities. 
We work strategically with Southern Health & Social Care Trust providing niche services and support such as with CAMHS and Autism services.
We have worked with local Council to manage the Public Health Agency Sofa 2 Saddle cycle scheme and the NHS driven Couch 2 5k programme which both end in scheduled events.
We want to be the 'First Stop Shop' for those looking to start or get back into their journey to improve their health and well-being.
